Espacea, an employment-oriented company, opened in Pontchâteau as part of the Zero Unemployment Long-Term Territory (TZCLD) plan, is now operational.
As in all experimental territories, this company opens its doors to partners and the general public. From Monday 30 May to Friday 3 June in order to make visible the useful and complementary works that can be carried out on a city scale.
38 contracts
This is because the stakes are high: with 38 people permanently out of work, hired on an indefinite contract, there are many possibilities for action.
And this open door will give them visibility. Neighbors and local actors are especially invited to visit the company on Friday, June 3, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (1).
Four service centers for Pontchâtelain residents
Four main areas structure the operation of the company.

In addition, the community service center offers sidewalk clearing, gutter cleaning, municipal magazine distribution, a digital disruption workshop, and the development of Christmas packages for seniors.

TZCLD … in a nutshell!
The experiment of Zero Long-Term Unemployment Territories, to which the city of Pontchâteau (the first in the Loire-Atlantique) has just been officially assigned, has as its main objective to chart another course in the fight against long-term unemployment. .
In particular, it makes it possible to reallocate the costs associated with long-term deprivation of employment, to help finance jobs that are sustainable, socially useful for the territories, additional to those that exist locally and that guarantee decent working conditions.
The first experimental stage involved 10 territories between 2016 and 2021. There are currently 21 territories participating at the national level. Nearly 1,300 additional jobs have been created in these territories since the start of the experiment.
