How to use Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4

  1. It is completely portable and does not require installation.
  2. Once you’ve downloaded the zip file, extract its contents and move the program folder to the desired location. Attach your executable file to your Start menu for easy access. Do not separate the content from the download, as it is important that the content remains in the same folder.
  3. First, create a system restore point. You can use the Create Restore Point button provided by UWT. We urge you to create one before using the tweaker, so that you can go back if you feel the need.
  4. Adjusters are for users who know what they are doing. We recommend that you do not over-adjust your system at the same time. In our experience, many people only apply all the adjustments at once, but they don’t remember which adjustment was responsible for a change they want to undo. We suggest that you apply settings for a single category each day, see how your system works, before moving on to other settings.
  5. To run Tweaker, right-click on its exe file and select Run as administrator.
  6. To apply the setting, check or uncheck the box as appropriate. Once you’ve selected one or more options, click the Apply button. Some adjustments may be applied instantly. If you need to restart your system, you will be reminded that you must restart your computer when you exit the application.
