Bottega writes a new page
Bottega Veneta writes a new page. This April, the house joins the famous Olivetti typewriters to present a unique capsule collection. Inspiration? The retro model of the 50’s that made the Italian company famous. Pastel colors, braided by a bite in the shape of the characters and contrasting detail … The “Cabat” bag created in 2001 by Tomas Maier is revealed under another face. A long volume reminiscent of the size of Camillo Olivetti’s typewriters. Fully braided by hand, using the technique ofweave, the bag comes in soft yellow and smoky blue. Available exclusively at the brand’s Venetian store, this limited edition capsule was unveiled during the Venice Biennale. The event was also an opportunity for the Italian brand to present a completely different bag: the “Kalimero”. The first object of desire created by the new artistic director Matthieu Blazy, the Kalimero is exhibited on the facades of the Serenissima, thus giving an overview of the autumn-winter 2022 campaign. Enough to put Venice on the page.

The new Louis Vuitton Eyewear campaign takes on the look of a blockbuster. Performer: Actress Millie Bobby Brown. It is in the heart of its brand new Parisian address, in the Marais district, that Clarins has just inaugurated a unique tailor-made service: a lipstick oil bar. The brand offers to make our own version of the famous Lip Comfort Oil, this hybrid product between care and makeup that nourishes the lips and makes them shine at the same time. We first explore the range of shades on offer and select at least two pigments, from seven different ones in total: from pink to red, to brown or orange. We then refine our choice from several nuances. Immediately, the machine is activated in front of us: a small bottle is filled with our mixture in a few seconds, ready to be put in our handbag. Its formula remains unchanged regardless of the color produced: always 93% natural ingredients (including the trio of organic rosehip, jojoba and hazelnut vegetable oils). A summer like James Bond Girl

The Balzac family reunites
Fashion is a big family. Clémence and Clémentine, founders of the Apache children’s fashion brand, are teaming up with their sister Chrysoline de Gastines, co-creator of the Balzac brand, for the moment of a collection. The result is a family story, of course, but also floral prints. The thread of the accessory collection, the bohemian motifs are found throughout the capsule consisting of tote bags, banana bags, clutch, scarves and even scrunchies. Timberland is taking a new path
Green change for Timberland. This season, the brand is taking an eco-responsible turn, between heritage and innovation. This is especially the case with their new hiking shoe called Euro Hiker Re-imagined Waterproof. This model, reminiscent of the original yellow high shoe created in 1973, is made of more environmentally friendly materials. In particular, a skin from an independent tannery as well as a fabric created with 50% recycled plastic that adapts perfectly to extreme conditions. Always with a mix of acid and sober colors, technical anoraks and pants complete this new collection. Something to walk responsibly this spring.
