“I am what my hands do and what my eyes see. I am a woman who paints, draws, sculpts, body, weaves, braids, ties, connects, makes, unmakes, feels, seeks, explores … I studied art at the National School of Fine Arts in Clermont-Ferrand and I obtained my diploma there in 1995 (DNSEP with congratulations from the jury).
I’ve exhibited here, elsewhere, and elsewhere. They are increasingly enriching experiences that allow me to get out of my studio to get to know places, people and their eyes.
Confronting, sharing, questioning, imagining … Curious and exploratory … I like to explore all kinds of artistic spaces: drawing, painting, sculpture, land art, porcelain painting, book illustration and in particular children’s albums but also textile. art, textile creation and transformation, writing … I am interested in the fabric of shapes and colors, conductors of energies, dialogues and emotions. I draw cats in all their poses and have fun staging them in different worlds of colors and patterns. Trees are also a topic I enjoy working on to express the love I have for them and to challenge our view of the world around us, visible and invisible. Drawing, painting, weaving, braiding, trying to tell stories, writing, feeling are all actions that build my poetic universe.
My work is a claim to the right to dream and to ask. That’s how my spool of thread goes … I wish you a good trip … ”Isaa.blog4ever.com
Open Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
