5 new models available for less than € 200 / month

Cars often have the image of expensive products that are difficult to access financially, even with government aid. But thanks to financing solutions, some models can become quite affordable right away. We have selected 5 electric cars for you for less than € 200 / month.

At the beginning of 2022, we offered you our selection of the 5 electric cars available for less than € 100 / month. They were not numerous, but some interesting models emerged, including the highly successful MG ZS EV or the queen of the city’s electric cars, the Renault Twingo E-Tech.

This time, we will increase the budget a little with cars whose rent is between 100 and 200 € / month. What to afford a very versatile electric car and not necessarily limited to the city.

Browsing the sites of the different manufacturers and their famous “promo” sections, we found several financing offers for less than € 200 / month and we have grouped here the most interesting ones for you.

Fiat 500 from 109 € / month

As you know, the new Fiat 500 has become electric with its new generation. It meets with great success in France, especially its version with the largest battery. What is less well known is that Fiat also offers a variant with a 24 kWh battery.

The range is reduced by only 190 km, but this is still acceptable for a new electric car on display from 109 € / month. Obviously there is more endurance for less, but the little Italian has a bit of luxury and a plush side that can make a difference.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 2,500
  • Funding duration: 37 month
  • Mileage: 30.000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 109 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): 6,533 euros

Peugeot e-208 from 149 € / month

It is one of the best-selling electric cars in France, and for good reason, because it shows up with pretty attractive monthly payments. On the side of Peugeot, we do not bother to offer various battery capacities or various electric motors, the e-208 is only offered with a 50 kWh battery and a 136 horsepower electric motor.

The range is announced at 340 km WLTP, which can be done in purely urban use. For long road trips, the car will painfully reach 200 km range at 130 km / h before the next recharge. It is not the quintessential versatile electric, but its price / quality ratio is interesting nonetheless.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 3,975
  • Funding duration: 37 month
  • Mileage: 30.000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 149 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): 9,488 euros

Renault Zoé from 159 € / month

The Renault Zoe was for a long time at the forefront of electric car sales in France before being cut off from underfoot by the Tesla Model 3. But this could be temporary given the sharp price increases seen in the latter. In 10 years, the Renault Zoé has been sharpened and, thanks to its battery with a capacity of 50 kWh, can travel up to almost 400 km of autonomy under the WLTP cycle.

The Zoe is equipped with a 110-horsepower engine and is slightly more versatile than the Peugeot e-208 thanks to more measured consumption. On the other hand, for long journeys, even if it is more durable than the lioness, you should not expect to travel more than 250 km on a single charge.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 1,500
  • Funding duration: 37 month
  • Mileage: 30.000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 159 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 7,224

Hyundai Ioniq Electric from 159 € / month

For the price of a city car, opt for a 100% electric sedan. This is what Hyundai offers with its Ioniq Electric. The Korean firm is quite accustomed to aggressive financing offers, Kona Electric from 99 € / month.

The Hyundai Ioniq is not the latest electric car, and this is reflected in the technical features. The car is equipped with a 38.3 kWh battery and an electric motor, whose power is 136 hp. The range is not extraordinary for a sedan with 311 km announced under the WLTP cycle.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 3,650
  • Funding duration: 37 month
  • Mileage: 30.000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 159 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 9,374

Opel Mokka-e from 179 € / month

The Opel Mokka-e is the first technician of the Peugeot e-2008, which is also shown at prices below € 200 / month base price. Therefore, the Opel is also the first technician of the Peugeot e-208 mentioned above.

It uses the same 136-horsepower electric block and the same 50 kWh battery. Its aerodynamics and its weight, superior to those of the small Sochaux, make it lose a few precious kilometers of autonomy. The German SUV claims 322 km with a single load.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 3,300
  • Funding duration: 36 month
  • Mileage: 30.000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 179 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 9,565
