5 new models available for less than € 100 / month

Electric cars are known to be expensive, and they are. But with the help of the government, some manufacturers are able to show financing with attractive monthly payments. We have selected five models available for monthly payments of less than € 100 / month.

Now you’re used to it, we periodically decipher the financing offers of certain manufacturers for their electric cars. The Renault Mégane E-Tech, the MG ZS EV, the Peugeot e-208 … Many of them are shown with advantageous monthly payments, but you still have to respect certain conditions, so as not to be too demanding in the configuration of the car, or even and all have a small envelope for the first rental.

Searching the websites of the different manufacturers and their famous “promotion” sections, we found several financing offers for less than € 100 / month for an electric car. And, as we will see in this dossier, there are not only low-cost cars, and not even necessarily only cars! Which also satisfies those who do not yet have a driver’s license.

The Citroën Ami from € 19.99 / month

The model in question is not a car: it is the Citroën Ami that was so much talked about in its presentation in 2020. The Ami is an electric motor quadricycle that can be driven without a license, only with the BSR from 14 years. . This model is limited to 45 km / h, so it cannot operate outside of cities.

On the other hand, Ami can be a great alternative for any parent who doesn’t want to see their teen on a scooter. And contrary to what one might think, the range is not ridiculous with 75 km on a single charge, which we also saw in our test.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 2,600
  • Funding duration: 48 months
  • Mileage: 40,000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: € 19.99
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 3,560

The Renault Twingo E-Tech from 79 € / month

It shares its bottom line with the Smart EQ, but above all it is much more economically advantageous speaking than German. The Renault Twingo E-Tech also passed through our hands some time ago.

Its 190km range with a single charge is not at all significant, but it could be suitable for customers looking for a car to get around. It is today, apart from the Friend that is not a car, the electric model that is shown with the lowest monthly payments.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 2,500
  • Funding duration: 36 months
  • Mileage: 22,500 km (ie 7,500 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 79 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 5,344

The Dacia Spring from 3 € / day

€ 3 / day is a purely marketing strategy that psychologically marks customers. Obviously, you will not pay three euros a day to Dacia for your electric car. The terms of the contract are indeed monthly payments at 90 euros per month for the cheapest electric car on the market, but paradoxically not the least expensive in terms of monthly payments.

With 230 km of autonomy and a fairly complete equipment, as we mentioned in our test, the little Spring is full of qualities.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 2,500
  • Funding duration: 48 months
  • Mileage: 40,000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 90 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 6,820

The MG ZS EV from 99 € / month

A new MG ZS EV costs more than 30,000 euros without various aids and bonuses. But despite this, it is difficult to imagine a car for less than € 100 / month. However, this is what MG offers with the ZS EV at 99 € / month. At this price, you will have a ZS EV in Comfort finish with a 51 kWh battery that allows a range of 320 kilometers under the WLTP cycle. This version is equipped with an electric motor of 177 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.

Here is a more versatile model than the other three mentioned above, but above all better equipped and more luxurious, especially with the redesigned version that just appeared. On the other hand, this is a fairly short financing, only two years, so expect to start again with a new model after 24 months.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 4,500
  • Funding duration: 24 months
  • Mileage: 20,000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 99 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 6,876

The electric Hyundai Kona from 99 € / month

We thought it was going to disappear from the French catalog given its low level of sales, though no, the Hyundai Kona with its small 39 kWh battery resists, although customers prefer the excellent version with the 64 kWh battery. The 39 kWh battery allows Hyundai to offer its electric SUV for less than € 100 / month.

The car has 305 km of WLTP range, enough to consider longer journeys compared to an electric city car. Above all, the Kona has a generous supply of standard equipment and very good road handling.

  • Contribution (deductible bonus): € 4,600
  • Funding duration: 36 months
  • Mileage: 30,000 km (ie 10,000 km per year)
  • Monthly payments: 99 euros
  • Total cost (contribution + monthly payments): € 8,164
